STEP 1. visit amazon.in now scroll down you will see an option SELL ON AMAZON India. click on it

#NOTE: use desktop/laptop for registration.

STEP 2.  Now click on GET STARTED. then click on register now.

STEP 3. now create a new account, fill up all the details correctly. then click on create your Amazon India account.

STEP 4. write down your business name. tick on the agreement. then click on continue.

STEP 5. now verify the phone number through OTP. now you will be moved to seller information section automatically.

write down store name (store name should be unique).

choose a product category (you can change it later, you may choose more than one category). then fill the address detail correctly.

STEP 6. now fill the tax detail. click on yes when asked for DO YOU HAVE GST. then continue.Now

Now, click on update it later if you don’t have GST number and PAN card yet.

if you have Both things then fill it up. then click on next, now you will come to another section.

STEP 7. SELLER INTERVIEW SECTION

choose the category as per your business. tick on ‚Äúwhere do you get product from‚ÄĚ eg. if you are retailer then tick I RESELL PRODUCT THAT I BUY.

choose the annual turnover. then choose how many products you will sell.

tick on whether you sell on another website or not.

STEP 8. DASHBOARD SECTION

clicks on START LISTING

after that you can search any item and add it to your pannel.

now fill the bank details precisely. then fill the tax details.

now from here, you can add the product from the catalogue. you can manage your products from inventory.

you can change and set prices for the product. in orders section, you can manage the orders, product that customer return.

in REPORTS section you can check your payment.

you can advertise your own product for increasing its sales. you can see how your business is performing from performance section.

How to get the document for selling on Amazon India

1. pan card

pan card (permanent account number) is the most important document for an even most simple transaction like opening a bank account.

now govt has made the process very easy to get pan card. all you have to do is to fill the form online

but you have to send the document to the Income Tax PAN services offices to finalize the process.

1. proof of identity

A single copy of any one of these documents is acceptable for pan card

  • AADHAR CARD
  • voter card
  • driving license
  • ration card having a photo of the candidate
  • photo identity card issued by a central government¬†or state government or public sector undertaking
  • arms license
  • passport
  • pensioner card having a photo¬†of the applicant
  • central govt. health service scheme¬†card
  • bank certificate in original on letterhead¬†from the branch¬†along with name, stamp and containing¬†bank account number of the applicant.

2. Address proof

along with the identity proof, you also need an address proof. any of the following documents can be used

  • Aadhar card
  • voter card
  • driving license
  • passport
  • domicile¬†certificate
  • the latest property tax assessment
  • property registration
  • employer certificate

#note: only one document is needed, I suggest AADHAR card because it has both identity proof as well as address proof.

3.birth proof

any one of the following document can be used for birth proof

  • birth certificate issued by the municipal authority or any officer authorized
  • 10th class mark sheet
  • passport
  • a diving licence
  • domicile certificate
  • marriage certificate

4. photograph

any two recent passport size photograph.

once you have scanned all the required documents, now follow the following simple steps.

  1. visit the official site www.onlineservices.nsdl.com
  2. Application type – NEW PAN INDIAN CITIZEN (form 49A). category- individual.
  3. Now fill the form correctly, if you are facing any issue you can call the income tax department helpline at 1800 180 1961.
  4. once you have done with filling details, now you can select a payment method at the end of the form. (pan card apply fees Rs. 110). additional bank charges may apply depends upon payment method. click submit.
  5. Review once all the details make sure name spelling and address are correct, then enter the captcha code, then click confirm. click on agree and make the payment.
  6. acknowledgement form will get generated it has 15 digit acknowledgement number. print the page and paste the photo on the acknowledgement form. sign within the box.
  7. put it in the envelope, on envelope write APPLICATION FOR FORM and write down 15 digit acknowledgement number. Post it to NSDL at Income Tax PAN Services Unit, NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited, 5th floor, Mantri Sterling, Plot No. 341, Survey No. 997/8, Model Colony, Near Deep Bungalow Chowk, Pune Р411016.
  8. the application form must reach NSDL within 15DAYS from the date of online application.
  9. they will send the pan card to your address after processing the application.
  10. you may call at 02027218080 for checking the status of your application.

2. GST NUMBER

As Per New Rule Imposed By Govt. That After 01/july/2017, Any Seller Who Want To Sell Any Type Of Product/Service Must Have GST Number. Except If The Seller Sells Goods Or Services Under Exempt Categories.

The GST Registration Process Is Very Easy It Doesn’t Need Any Paper Work. Which Means That You Can Apply For It Online Or Digitally. There is no need for Any Hard Copies Or Physical Print Outs For The Enrollment.

I will show you the whole process in a very easy way:

(A).visit this official link https://www.gst.gov.in/ . go to service tab. then click on registration than for new registration.

(B).now fill up all the detail including your pan number, email id, mobile number.

#NOTE: mobile number and email id must be active. OTP will be sent on it during registration.

(c). after writing down all the details. click on proceed. now, you will receive two OTP one on mobile number another on email, so that both of them get verified. OTP is valid only for 10minute so hurry up.

#After the end of the process you will get newly generated temporary reference number.

(d). now again visit service tab then new registration and select temporary reference number.

(e). write down Temporary registration number (TRN).  fill up the captcha then proceed.

(f). new OTP will send to you on your verified email and mobile number. you have to again verify the OTP.

(G). this will bring you to MY SAVED APPLICATION PAGE.

You have to fill up all the detail and submit it within 15 days. after this, your number and saved form will be deleted. click the edit button proceed to step 2.

the new form contains 10 sections, you have to click on each tab to enter the section.

#note: please consult your CA/TAX consultant/GST practitioner before submitting the form.

now you need the following scanned copies of documents

  1. Proof of constitution/incorporation of business
  2. Bank Account Number and IFSC Code.
  • ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† In case of a Partnership Firm -Deed of Partnership
  • ¬† ¬† ¬† ¬† For Others- Registration Certificate of the business entity.

3. Photo of Authorised Signatory

4. front and the first page of bank passbook

5. Proof of primary place of business

6. Photo of partner, promoter, the director

now fills up the all the tab.

‚ćüSTEP 3.

For verifying the GST application form you have two options A. digital signature. b. E-verification using ADHAR.

you can follow any method.

#NOTE
E- verification though AADHAR is easy method.

Steps for e-verification:-

1. Log into your Goods and Service Tax (GST) portal.

2. Go to the last tab ( Verification tab)

3. tick the checkbox and click on submit with e-signature

4. The following dialogue box will pop up.

5. Than a One Time Password (OTP) will be generated on the mobile number and E-mail ID provided in aadhar card. Enter the OTP generated and click on continue.

6. Your form will be successfully verified and submitted, now you will receive the following confirmation message

The E-Signing process is completed.

2nd method : SIGNING USING DIGITAL SIGNATURE

1.First, you have to register your digital signature through Login on the site.

2. now, Attach your DIGITAL SIGNATURE CERTIFICATE (DSC) to your device.

2.Click on Dashboard and choose register/update DIGITAL SIGNATURE CERTIFICATE (DSC).

3.From there you can download the utility for signing.

4.Using that utility called e-signer you can register your digital signature.

5.Once done with registering your DSC you can submit your application form.

6.Go to dashboard, click on MY SAVED APPLICATION>EDIT>VERIFCATION TAB> CLICK ON SUBMIT WITH DSC.

7.Your form will be submitted.

if you already have a bank account you can use it, if not then visit any bank and create it.

opening a bank account is very simple. but you should choose nearest and less crowded one so that you can visit them easily as per your need.

4. Email id:

you can use your previous mail or you can create new one.

5. mobile number

try to use mobile number that you uses regularly.

#NOTE
if you have recently applied for GST number and pan card, then I suggest you should register your self as amazon seller an when they ask for GST number and pan card just click on update it later. but for selling product, you must have to submit.
